Like with the solo girl dancing by me. I’d have either tried to get him to dance/talk yo her. Or I would have and drawn him into the conversation and then fade.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Yeah that's a shame really...I still like the effort you put into this.
Bigger underlying issues that we men dont communicate and talk about these problems. In war and love it's s every man for himself. Women are more understanding amongst each other, that's why we as men all know you might have to run game on her fatty friend as well. If your male friend catches a ONS , it's a handshake and see you tomorrow buddy!
