She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
First time i did ab rollouts onmy knees i just about managed to crank out a rep.Quiksilver said:Thursday, August 28, 2008
I'm gonna have to really work on those Ab rollouts, if anyone here's done them with any success, are they worth it and how do you do them for reps?
cheers
I chain the DB to my weaker ankle(in my case left leg), cross my ankles, then just do them traditionally.Just a question: How do you do your weighted hanging leg raises?
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
One missed deadlift session will NOT make your deadlift lag behind your squats.Quiksilver said:I don't want my Deads to lag behind squats though.
LOL you just had to bring up the 2 cookies I gobbled in a moment of weakness!...So far you've sneaked in wine, beer, cookies on your non carb days.
First, quit with the labelling. 'TCD' is just a name/variation of a SET OF PRINCIPLES not a specific diet. The same principles that've been used since Gironda's era (and earlier on, within and outside strength training circles if you do your research).Quiksilver said:Since I'm going extreme TCD(pre/post workout only on training days only) isn't a legit cheat meal on the menu each week?
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
The PR was 145.5kg(320lbs)x6x2 I believe, and yeah I hope I can keep up this pace for a few more weeks! This time around should be better too. The diet I was on back then was terrible, chicken and green peppers all day with a few eggs for breakfast. And I only followed that on weekdays, eating some crap food on weekends. Sleep habits were awful back then too.shaunuk said:wooooo! It really is amazing how quickly your strength goes back up when you're regaining lost strength
hey I've seen in your journal before, but I forget, what was your max squat before? It was about 350 or something? So in kg that was like 150-160?
The kind where your ass chafes from scraping the floor so much! You could only do good mornings and RDLs with the bar after your squats 'cause your lower back was spent? What kinda squats did you do? :|
coco powder and creme if allowed. I haven't tried it but maybe some splender and coco will help you. Strawberries are quite low carb and help with taste.Quiksilver said:Any advice on how to make raw eggs more palatable is appreciated

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
