group orgy???
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
I'll be sure to tell "Elemental" that when I see him.Originally posted by Wyldfire
You, Elemental, are not a "real DJ", not by a long shot.
You missed it...But you and Vincent can join in. Just grab him and bring him towards the back of the airplane for your two's fun.Originally posted by StepItUpAnotch

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
So you are claiming that the qualities I described are not the traits of a "real DJ"?Originally posted by Vincent
yay chicks defining what a Don Juan is.
Whats next for this site I wonder...

They might be to some, but a women defining a don juan is like a guy telling a chick how to act during that time of the month.Originally posted by Wyldfire

You, Eternal, are not a "real DJ", not by a long shot.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
What does me showing my girl this site have anything to do with me being a "DJ" or not? You jealous or something?Originally posted by Porky
A "real DJ" is mature. He's not defensive, can take constructive criticism like a man instead of like a boy. He is confident but he doesn't come across as being egotistical...he doesn't NEED to. He doesn't need to make himself look like a better person by insulting and demeaning others.
You, Eternal, are not a "real DJ", not by a long shot.
my thoughts exactly.
hey Eternal, you're a real G. Way to bring your girl onto this site.
Good points Porky.Originally posted by Porky

Good points Porky.
No comment on all the Eternal stuff, cuz I dunno him or his gf.

I don't really see how you can be a challenge when she knows every game you play. If you ever have a problem with her, where are you going to turn to for advice? The moderator's corner? yeah, good luck with that.
if you can't see your own stupidity, you must be blind. no offense.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
