Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Maybe I'm just an old Marine but when $#!+ like that happens -- even during fright scenes in movies -- I unconsciously reach for my sidearm. My hand doesn't move, but there's a spasm in my shoulder as my brain still tells the hand to move to the hip and unsnap the holster. I can still actually physically feel my hand doing it; this is probably what "phantom pains" feel like. Weird.
That said, this was pretty damned lame.
