You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
It is small waist to hip ratios (that is, waist at 70% of hips) that generally indicates fitness. Why do you think otherwise? And "Just because" is not a good answer.Originally posted by Tazman
I don't think a "small waist" on a woman is necessarily an indicator of good health.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
glad someone pointed it out, amidst the cries of "i'd fcuk her" and "no i wouldn't fcuk her"Originally posted by Francisco d'Anconia
The truth of the matter is that we are talking about people (men included) that over indulge. They don't need to be rail thin but truly healthy.

Francisco d'Anconia: So you think beauty = value?
Can't say i agree. I hate it when someone worships beauty. Not cause i'm ugly, or date ugly chicks, but simply because it's ignorant. Personally i don't give a damn how someone looks (5-6-7-8 WHATEVER) aslong as i'm attrackted to them that will suffice. I have to say i dislike fat chicks BUT i like some meat. I dislike skinny atleast asmuch as i dislike fat. Marilyn Monroe shapes are kind of my ideal in a woman.
True, but having a gut is seldom if ever the sign of a healthy person.Originally posted by Tazman

You're comparing something that can be achieved through healthy, active lifestyle and exercise to something that can only be achieved through either extremely lucky genetics or expensive cosmetic surgery? Get over yourself. Fat is fat, and fat is unattractive.Originally posted by SeldomSeen
by who's standard should she be 120lbs? YOurs? SOme magazine? American society?
Every guy should look like Brad Pitt too. I wonder how many guys on the forum look like Brad Pitt, have chiseled abs, well trimmed, nice tanned etc. I doubt many because they wouldnt be on this site talking about their problems finding women.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Yeah, it done mostly when someone is so self indulged in being right that any other opinion isn't easily understood or respected. It obviously can't be a lacking on their part so it must be ignorance of the other person.Originally posted by Egoist
