Just turn 60 last monteYou look good man, how old?
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
spot-on, LolAre you mid 60's? You could pass for 58 to 60.

6'1, 200 lbs, 22 years old. Although I get looked at and get approached often, my main issue is that most people seem to think that I'm 30 or in my late 20's and they can't seem to shake off the fact that I'm 22 lol. Just finished school and going back and about to secure a good income with a couple jobs. In the process of moving out as well.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
You look a lot like someone ik bro so that’s why. Are you Russian per chance? And does your name start with an S?
Look amazing at 46 manProgress pic and a head shot.
You younger guys got one up on me in the gym, but I think I’m doing ok for a guy about to turn 47 in 2 months.

Man you look good, but you look 15I'll just throw this in here. I don't have as much muscle as many of you, but can't say I'm struggling with women. I've started going to the gym recently though. I'm 28.

You've said ALL of us look good. You talk to us just like your girls!Man you look good
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Ah ok. Don't want to reveal more than I have but I'm eastern european. Name doesn't start with an S.You look a lot like someone ik bro so that’s why. Are you Russian per chance? And does your name start with an S?
Alright jw. I knew a dude who looked pretty close to you, went to UIC and was ~same age as you so that’s why I askAh ok. Don't want to reveal more than I have but I'm eastern european. Name doesn't start with an S.
Helped me outSo I’ve wanted to post this thread for literally years! But never knew if it would violate forum terms, I think it would solve a ton of problems on this forum.
I think some of us aren’t getting the results we want because your look needs a little tweaking, we are all diamonds in the rough.
So I invite anyone who is brave enough to post their real life picture and let us critique you in a friendly way.
The rules:
-No pictures with company logos or showing where you work
-No disrespect/bullying. We are helping each other, not here to make fun of each other.
-Feel free to blur a portion of the photo (eyes perhaps) to retain some anonymity.
and of course I’ll go first:

I know my beard looks a little messy, it’s usually neater.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
True, I do look young for my age, just like my father. I still occasionally get asked for ID. Not necessarily a disadvantage later in life.Man you look good, but you look 15
I knew someone would comment that right away, lol! It never really bothered me and it's fairly expensive to fix it. Maybe some day, but not in the near future. I'm sure everyone notices it, but nobody has given me any incentive to go get it fixed and personally it very rarely crosses my mind that my teeth are that way. It doesn't seem to cause me any problems.Need to fix those teeth!
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
