I suffer from depression and lack direction in my life. What do I have to do to be happy and successful in life?
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Do this ^ it's a good way to get you started. Try reading the Power of NOW too.ExcelNPrevail said:Realize that yesterday is dead, and the future doesn't exist yet.
Now what does this mean?...It means only live by the present, this exact moment right now. Become lost in it, and feel it. Forget what happened yesterday, whats done is done. Forget what may happen tommorrow, because you know what?...It almost never happens as you think of it.
Become aware of now and ask yourself. What you want in life. Build the skills you need to succeed in whatever you choose.
I wont pick and choose for you.
You do that yourself.
Good Luck.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I couldn't even begin to tell you what you need to do to be happy and successful, I don't know you. But what I can say is that recognizing you have a problem to be solved in the first place is half the battle.SharinganUser said:I suffer from depression and lack direction in my life. You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
That's probably true. I don't know if the physical thing is the most important change to make, but it's probably the easiest to make and offers the most easily measurable results.Drum&Bass said:I think your 1st goal should be to head over to health and fitness forum and get yourself physically healthy and eating right..that is the start and foundation of change that will allow other things to follow much more easily.
