Senior Don Juan
Given my recent posts I thought this would be a good exercise for all.
You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
If you have a girlfriend you have oneitis
Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.
I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.
Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules. Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
I've suffered from that before, and let me tell you that like you said, it isn't fun at all after that high wears off. There was a girl that I loved back in high school, and it continued on for so long, those feelings kept going even after that woman got married several years ago as I wasn't phased by it. Then it died down for awhile but those feelings immediately reignited when I saw her in a department store last year and we talked for awhile. It took me quite a few months but they're back under control again, plus my mother helped pound some sense into my head when she informed me that even if that girl did get divorced (which was what I was hoping for at one time as I can tell she isn't all that happy currently by what she does), I didn't need all that extra baggage that would come with her. I still think of her occasionally, but nowhere near how I used to.Oneitis is used to describe a man who focuses and pursues only one woman without her having the same interest for him, it's thus considered negative. However if she's got the same interest it's usually not defined as oneitis.
Oneitis is the same as infatuation, she's on your mind, you imagine being with her and have elevated feelings for her. Oneitis in particular is when a man fantasizes instead of acting on his feelings, he remains trapped and usually crashes horribly when the high subsides. It's exactly like a drug, feels good but is eventually very bad for you.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
