I don't see the point in telling her she's wasting your time. That's shame/guilt that makes you look ego-bruised as a man. It makes it easier for her to rationalize passing you up.

Lead and let her follow. If she doesn't... cut time with her to pursue better or more options is a wiser strategy... or least... just stay busy. Have enough going on in your life that you don't notice her dropping off in interest/attention.

Stay balanced, emotions in check, always keep the focus on you. Invest less. The last lesson is what I've learned the most (and hardest) this summer and trying my best to internalize. Self-respect in other words...

Just gotta keep that prize mentality. You're worth it and something better is coming your way. Stay positive.
