Look at this girl on Instagram, chic places, exclusive events, luxury clothes. She could easily be with a man 10–20 years older.
Today, many women, once they experience wealth and this lifestyle, they won’t go back to dating a guy in his dad’s basement.
They’ll only want men who can provide that.
State and Corporate jobs helps this by giving women careers that replace the role of a husband. Titles, business trips, exclusive events, the Instagram life. But it’s all a fragile trend. These women often stop needing men; they see them as just the cherry on top. I’ve seen it with my sister, her friends, once they change, they don’t go back.
Those women are lost.
So to reply to OP, I Think that if a woman search for a 10+ y.o. man that is either her childhood imprinting (her father it's older than her mother), or either their career/lifestyle imprinting (business trips, lifestyle, etc)
