i just wanted to update everyone about the chat room. a change has been made to the room. you must now pm me with your email address, so that an invite can be sent to your email account allowing you access to the room. if you have already done this and have been invited before, you should have no problem logging in. if you have not been invited, you will need to be in order to log in. we are hoping that this will help to rid some of the problems that we have recently experienced concerning a few trolls. i am sorry for any inconvenience, but hope that you will return to the chat room anyway.

tonight's topic is "where do i spend my tax refund?"

next sunday night's topic is "guys way beyond afc.. with mikeyikes as chat leader."

we are also encouraging other members to set up their own time slots with chat topics. members have requested that someone lead chat during the evening on the topic of general fitness. warboss alex was doing this, however we have not heard from him in quite some time.
another thing members are wanting is for someone to come into the chat room and set time slots for topics during the day time hours.

our goal is to have a schedule such as the following example :
monday 10am coffee talk
1pm free yourself from the matrix
6pm general fitness
8 pm peacocking 101
midnight late night with whoever
tuesday 10am coffee talk
1pm ltr talk
6pm general fitness
8pm bootcamp
midnight late night with whoever
wednesday 10am coffee talk
1pm positive attitudes
6pm general fitness
8pm redine yourself
midnight late night with whoever

etc for each night of the week

sunday night at 9pm will still be the weekly round table that many have come to love and look forward to topics that change each and every week.

we have people from all over the place popping in and out missing each other, so the number one complaint is that they can not find anyone in chat when they can chat. so if you have a topic that you feel needs to be discussed weekly or have knowledge in an area and can be in the chat during a certain time frame... chime in and let us know.

the goal is for everyone that wants to participate in live real time chat, to be able to with time frames and topics set up for those interested in participating.

3/9/08 Chat Wrap

This past chat on non-exclusive dating (and boobs, and jackbauer's hate-fest with his ex ) was the most successful chat to date in terms of both participation and productive discussion. Thank you to everyone who stopped in and took part.

Hopefully we can continue to improve these events so that they're both entertaining and meaningful discussions. If you have any feedback, advice, or suggestions, feel free to share them here.

One point of clarification, these chats "officially" start at 10:00 Eastern USA time (-5:00 GMT), though you're certainly welcome to arrive earlier or later, as the room is free. penkitten is the room admin, so if you have any issues related to accessing it, PM her.
