"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Any of you guys feel that way?
Back in The 2000s, The OGs around me were emphatic: "Avoid mixing booze and sex with women you've just met.... It's remarkably easy for a gal to claim r-pe afterwards". The barbarically forgotten Asa Baber counseled men similarly in his Playboy column during The 80s

This isn't new, and while I support changing some aspects of our legal system which essentially remove the burden of proof off of the state, there will NEVER be a day where bedding drunk chicks at bars isn't a foolish move

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

To add, I am in male/female support group once a week and a few of the guys stated they are now somewhat nervous about sexually escalating especially while drinking due to the Cornell 7 case.

Even when she consents! And also are more nervous cold approaching as well

It's lowered their trust and wouid simply rather avoid than to risk exactly what's happening in Cornell 7.

It's something they think about whereas prior to, they weren't concerned at all.

Any of you guys feel that way?
Tbh, I have no idea what the advice or takeaways would be to protect yourself and not end up in situations like this.

No. Finding the right woman is in the long term existential.

The only thing I can think of is just be a good judge of character.

I get what you’re saying, but check out how fast see switched up once she wasn’t invited to that party.

“Nothing was illegal, i luv u king” -> “You aren’t my friend, you’re covering your ass” -> rape charge.

I suppose you could say, you see who people really are when they don’t get what they want, when things are inconvenient for them, or they’re met with a boundary.

Back when I had roommates, I used to leave a five dollar bill laying on a table, just to see if someone would take it.

I also believe that enforcing honest boundaries also acts as a filter for the kind of people you want to have around. Of course I wouldn't know what to tell you about passive aggressive people.

I hate the timeline we're in...
this is a geeky answer to your point.

so for some others the timeline is nice; really nice. its a combination of when AND where.

when your in a social circle, notice that every place in town you go you see them. now... change social circles, and the new ones are everyplace. the point is that both are around, but you notice and are affected only by the ones your active with.

you choose your path, there are many paths available. this timeline is just one of every other timeline. pick a different goal and activities and your timeline will be very different.

you know how some people just look like clowns... they don't get it... they are blue pill, or nerds, or stupid... but the timeline they live in at the same time as yours is nice....

I hate the timeline we're in...

First, we've got the Lindsay Clancy trial where somehow we have women backing a mother who murdered 3 of her own children, raising her over $1million on GoFundMe, and doxxing the juror who held the line against a not-guilty verdict - to the point where he's being treated as more of a criminal than her.

Then we have this Cornell 7 thing where a girl can do drugs off a guy's d***, engage in 2 separate threesomes, continue texting the guy after the fact about how she had fun...only to change her mind (and her statement) 2 years later because she began facing the consequences of being labeled a sl**, and is now destroying these guys' lives.

And just today I saw a story about a woman in Houston killing her 4-year-old child after losing a custody battle, rather than turn her over to the husband. She, of course, tried to end her life, but failed, since that seems to be the recent trend.

What is this world? It pisses me off that I see so many of my "friends" on Instagram reposting stuff about these issues without the full story because they can't be bothered to read past the headline. Or maybe they just don't care, and it fits the narrative - who knows?

My friends and family know I'm promiscuous and would prefer I settle down with a good girl. But the older I get, and the more I look around, the less I'm sure those women still exist...this is ridiculous.

Anyway, I had a few drinks and saw stuff in my feed that pissed me off, so I wanted to put my thoughts out somewhere.
Well man, It's funny you say that. I too was upset last night and wasn't counting my drinks. LOL.

Women who are worth hanging onto are out there, and there are definitely more than a few. Problem is you've got to meet a lot of people. Not a problem for you. Chin up.

The other stuff is just life. People are more parrots or m0nkey see monk3y do type of people. Groupthink and belonging to the protest or cause du jour is the most important thing instead of facing the discomfort of developing your own thing called "PERSONALITY" which most sadly lack. Most people (arrogant or not, I don't care) are also stvpid.

Reminiscent of the Duke Lacrosse players case 20 years ago....

">>The Duke lacrosse rape hoax was a false accusation of sexual assault in 2006 against three university athletes in Durham, North Carolina.

The Accusation:
  • The Party: Members of the Duke University men's lacrosse team hosted a party on March 13, 2006, and hired two women to dance.
The Claim: A woman named Crystal Mangum stated that three players raped her at the house.
The Investigation and Resolution:
  • DNA Evidence: Tests of the physical evidence did not match any of the accused players (David Evans, Collin Finnerty, and Reade Seligmann).
Dropped Charges: North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper dismissed all charges in April 2007. He stated that the players were completely innocent.
The Aftermath:
  • The Prosecutor: District Attorney Mike_Nifong faced disbarment (losing his license to practice law) and went to jail for contempt of court due to his unethical actions during the case.
University Settlements: Duke University reached financial settlements with the wrongly accused players.
The Confession: In December 2024, Mangum publicly admitted that she fabricated the entire assault story
I LOVED Tom Leykis' broadcast about the case! Unfortunately, finding the clip for the show on that date is ridiculously hard!

To answer the question, I don't personally feel that way, nor do most of my peers. Life and love always find a way and idiots will still keep the world populated. My only fear in life has remained the same since my 20s... Stupidity.

I like listening to Megan Kelly who hosts a daily
talk show and podcast on SiriusXM and has over 4 million subscribers on YouTube. Politically she classifies herself as an "Independent"

She is a 100% No Nonsense, a lawyer and former journalist and reporter for Fox News and is extremely intelligent, informed, logical, I have become a big fan! Learned a lot from her too.

Anyway, she discusses the Cornell 7 case a lot and is outraged! She has followed closely and makes some brilliant points as to why filing charges is absurd and irresponsible.

Sunny Hostin, a former federal prosecutor who specialized in sex crimes has said "she read the Jane Doe's original nine-page 2024 statement" and "there is no way, according to her statement in 2024, that any prosecutor would have brought the case."

Sample of Megan Kelly's no-nonsense style after singer Olivia Rodrigo vocalized support for Jane Doe in the Cornell gang rape lawsuit.

"Of Rodrigo’s stance, Kelly said, “Shut up and stick to singing.”

“I liked you better when you were in front of a microphone singing your weird little depressing songs."

“Shut up. You don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s better to keep your mouth shut and let people suspect you’re an idiot than to open it and prove them right. Ever hear that saying? It applies to you, sweetheart.”

She went on, “We don’t need the participation of know-nothing morons who have been auto-tuned into fame and suddenly think they have something profound to say on the culture wars.”

She doesn't mess around!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Megyn Kelly believing she's got any business lecturing someone as such might be absurd than Jim Baker taking Ted Haggard to task, for misusing the pulpit
