Do you tell them why you went nc if they try and contact and ask why you have not been contacting them or do you just bs them and say youre busy...i think it would be better to just be straight up with them but like to hear opinions and previous experiences

Well the thing with NC is its supposed to lead to a frame reset.
You only do NC when you have dropped your frame and the interactions are all going to **** (unless its a hard nc because a girl you were exclusive with cheated on you etc)
So the point is if you have re-etablished frame you arent going to start bitching about the past are you.
"Oh hey nah i wasnt ignoring you just had a ton on lately, good to hear from you though, so when are you buying me a drink?"
That's a fairly standard response

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

NO, you never admit that to them. It sounds like a good, honest thing to do in your mind, but it will only backfire on you. 2 things will happen
