"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Apparently I'm 'infracted' so I guess the time I spend there is over? Ah well. Love (Shack) has abandoned me again.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Also, what's the big deal about one of your own exposing you. I mean if you're so sure and proud of your message, why worry about them knowing who you are?
It's not a big deal, there's no worry per se, but the fact is since some of us were "exposed", our threads were deleted. How can we get any advise across if it just gets deleted?

Also, once our usernames got flagged, there's now an instant shield of negativity associated with our usernames, ie being a troll. So, any further posts by us will instantly be pounced upon in a negative way.

Furthermore, in all fairness Hombre, your advise may be one of the posters on loveshack I agreed with, however I don't know your username on loveshack, so I'll never know.

I messaged the staff, so if there's any objectivity there I'll be back, othrwise it will be either a sockpuppet or they will have to stay a pink-only zone.

The locked loveshack thread in anything else has a lot of it.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Well, I won't go back. To be honest, sosuave is the only internet forum I participate in. I try to not spend to much time on the internet, unless researching something. I think, for me, the biggest thing I learned is how proud I am of the camaraderie and teamwork that was involved here. If I can contribute advise, or seek advise, it will be here, on sosuave.

It wasn't about proving anything so much as it was about being a philanthropy mission to save people from the horrible advice that is all over your site.
Colonel KontrollerX is right.

Hombre, we appreciate your input (no matter how we disagree) and want you to share your own unique perspective.

What happened in the past is dead. Let it remain dead.

Part of maturity is knowing when to fight the good fight and when to admonish your adversities.

When to "admonish your adversities?" Whaaa? Okie, dokie.

As for the rest, I can drop it.

Mr. Positive, I have no doubt you'd agree with my advice. I will not reveal my identity though.

:) OK Hombre, I don't blame you. Welcome to sosuave by the way!

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Well I think KX might have ruined a few perfectly good panties over there. Funny how the whiff of some testosterone can stir up the ladies. lol.

Actually, not really. The buzz is that they're glad he's gone. Takes a lot more than that to stir the LS ladies up.;) Except maybe Lizzie. She's wet for KX. But then, she's wet for any man for the right price.

There's a buzz about something they don't care about and didn't bother them? lol.

Yep...kinda ironic huh? Kinda like the "buzz" around here about going into battle and "teaching" the pink site about things, right? Gathering the troops and all, don't ya know.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

touche.

Well, whatever. This whole thing is about as serious as you want to make it I suppose.

I think it was equally funny and cool. No one died. That's the main thing. A bloodless battle.

Absolutely. You must be a Real Man to recognize that. ;)
By using the term "gay", I sincerely hope you meant the definition of cheery, bright, or pleasant.

Suggesting degrading homosexuals does not make a "real man", IMO.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
