Master Don Juan
You really don't know much about sales. You sell in person. If you don't get her out, you can not sell. She's not totally sold yet.
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
You really don't know much about sales. You sell in person. If you don't get her out, you can not sell. She's not totally sold yet.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
how long have you been working on this? it shouldn't take more than a couple weeks (at max), but basically whenever you've displayed all your most attractive personality traits in a natural way there's no more progress you can make without asking her outShe's not totally sold yet.
Its off an on. She seems a inexperienced. I may have to have her a tag along a time or two then do it.how long have you been working on this? it shouldn't take more than a couple weeks (at max), but basically whenever you've displayed all your most attractive personality traits in a natural way there's no more progress you can make without asking her out
you sound scared, lol.Its off an on. She seems a inexperienced. I may have to have her a tag along a time or two then do it.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
you sound scared, lol.
you need to nut up and make a move soon famNo, why?
you need to nut up and make a move soon fam
You can't ask her out? What kind of nonsense statement is that.No Im confident that she does infact like me. I cant ask her out yet, but she was adamant about coming out.
But I see what you guys mean about it isn't really a flake.
You can't ask her out? What kind of nonsense statement is that.
Of course, you can ask her out, you simply aren't because you are not confident enough that she will say yes, want to continue your fantasy of thinking she is actually interested in you and not come crashing back to reality if she says no, or are too afraid to act.
There is no "magic" amount of time that you need to wait. You aren't tipping the odds in your favor by waiting, quite the opposite actually.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
This is such bullish!t. Act like a man and stop being a b!tch and ask her out on a date.I think she does but wants to get to know me more. She always asked when she can see me again in the gym. And jumped at the chance to go to the film. She said this twice while cutting me off. I wasn't even asking her. I was saying what I was up to. If she didnt like me, she would have not cut me off twice and insisted to go.She impulsively said this. Her enthusiasm was instant.
She chickened out. She probably over thought it and that got the best of her. She was to impulsive in wanting to go. She most likely likes me and that made her want to go so badly. a lot of women do that.
Are you a troll? Serious question.I think she does but wants to get to know me more. She always asked when she can see me again in the gym. And jumped at the chance to go to the film. Not from experience, but I heard Head and Shoulders will help get rid of flakes. No pun intended.I usually brush off flakes.
Dandruff sucks.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
Troll alert here, in my opinion.
Pun?Not from experience, but I heard Head and Shoulders will help get rid of flakes. No pun intended.
Listen, IMO if your really, truly made her day when you showed up, you would have already gotten into her panties. She's trying to hook you into her orbit by feeding you hopeful words. So I just left it. I talked to her the other day. She said I always "make her day" when I show up. Who knows? Not doing anything yet
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
