The answer to your question in my opinion is deal with them to the best of your ability and don't worry about how cool they think you are. And build your confidence up to around the level or a little above the feedback your getting from them.

Sometimes it's hard to gage if your too confident they might read you as arrogant, not confident enough they might read you a as a simp. Then again some women like simps and some like arrogance.
So you win some you loose some it's a numbers game keep spinning plates if you don't want to sleep alone at night.

Why not just start acting like you're the cool guy she views you as? Do that for long enough and it'll be strange when girls DON'T see you as that kind of guy.
