"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

So fellas, how do you guys feel about pet names?

My FWB calls me babe. Sometimes he'll text me "hey babe". Also, he'll say things like "I wish you were here" or like yesterday "I hope you're having a good day". Now I know this may just be him trying to butter me up lol but doesn't this seem to cross the fwb boundaries? Should I tell him to relax with what I deem to be mushy talk or is this how fwb is supposed to go? This is my first time having one so I just want to make sure the boundaries are clear....

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

''He'' ----> I assume you are a female, yet sometimes , same rules apply regardless of gender.

Actions not words.

You want to keep it strictly FWB, then keep it up that way.

If he wants something more, then it is up to you.

Some people "flirt" like that saying "babe". It's a complement anyways. I'd say not to overthink it. Part of the sex is verbal communication and buttering someone up or making them feel good.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

nope. they've never done fwb.
What you should know about FWB is that inevitably one person always wants more. In this case it appears to be him. If that's not what you want, let him know the only communication that needs to take place is when one of you wants to fvck.

I'm assuming you must like the way he lays the pipe, so let him know you have a good time with him but that's all you want right now.

I think she will fvck up his flow if she doesn't let him call her "babe". It's not a big deal, a bunch of people flirt like that with people they are friends with, or won't ever screw. Just enjoy the attention and make him remember it's FWB.

Yeah he crosses FWB boundaries with his sap comments. So make your thread more interesting and tell us how that affects your attraction to him?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
