After asking a girl out, she asks "are you attracted to me?".

How the hell do you respond to that?

It all depends how smart you are in changing the subject.

Don't give her a direct reply or turn into something ****y and funny.

"Oh please, don't flatter yourself....I barely know you! For all I know you could be a psycho woman who loves to cut men up into little pieces and eat them for dinner"

Do it in a joking manner but leave the doubt there. That puts you in a position of power. She's going to be wondering if you're attracted to her unlike most guys who give her signs of interest almost immediately.

pfft, if you are actually handsome and in good shape, and you reply with Lexington's "don't flatter yourself" line you will offend her and come across as arrogant (yes this has happened to me). Don't be afraid of your feelings, own them like a man. DonJuan11's answer defuses the situation:- Just change the subject if u don't want to hand over your power.

it's not as much what you say as it is how you say it. so tao walker up there said "dont flatter yourself" and offended her, but it's because of HOW he said it. you can say whatever you want, just make sure you let her know it's a joke by giggling or smiling and then make sure you change the subject.

It depends on how she asks that question. If it's a naive young girl who hasn't been on many dates (or any date at all) - I've dealt with a couple - she might actually be kinda serious about that question. I'd say something like:

"Yeah, a little bit, but... "

If she asks "but what???"

"Hang out with me & find out."

The idea is to give her a little bit of bait, so she doesn't fear rejection and flake, but leave her wanting more.

I'd be curious to know how the convo got to this point. I know that Snowdog wasn't just walking down the street minding his own business,then all of the sudden,out of the blue,some girl just approached him and said,"Excuse me,I have a question for you. Are you attracted to me?".

I would just look at her like i wanted to kiss her and if she gave that look back or even just acted a little bit intimidated or off gaurd, I would then actually kiss her. No use for words, im pretty sure this would work most of the time if she is interested in you the least bit. She would either ask this question because she is attracted and is wondering about you or she isnt attracted and wants to put you in the friend zone.

Meh and if she rejected me and put my in the friend zone i would just play it off in a slightly humorous way anyway.
