Minimum wage is $15/hr in Illinois. Burger King advertises 18. Retail is 20. Working outside is 25. In rural areas downstate, a trailer rents for 500 a month. It's not a bad place to be poor.

That's all status based. Life and pay improves as you progress from blue to gold and then higher gold and platinum.
