Yeah, no? And why?
She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
More of a challenge? I think you are the first person to ever say that.NFC said:Older woman rock.. they're more of a challenge, I think.
Hahaha good onesparky0000 said:Am I the only one to notice these things? Nope. One reason why the runways in NY had more Estonian girls (a population of barely over 1 million) than American girls this fashion season. Sad. There was a time when you could find some pretty American girls.
Depends on the woman more than the age. So... maybe. I could see it happen, depending on the woman, unless she was a skank.The_Reaper said:Yeah, no? And why?
And that's evolution for you.sparky0000 said:They don't even have the same genetic features that the modern day American girl has.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Hey, I know of a guy who has celebrated his 30th birthday for the past 17 years. I kid you not. He has the cake with the number 30 etched into it. People give toasts and talk about his first 30 years of life. He even has a video tribute to himself where the number 30 flashes in between the videos. I guess if it works for ya. From the pictures I have seen, the girls in attendance get younger every 30th birthday party he has.mrRuckus said:She used to be 3 years older than you? How is that possible? Did one of you at some point approach light speed?
Sparky, you are in sync with the rhythmn of truth!!!sparky0000 said:More of a challenge? I think you are the first person to ever say that.
It is a very chic thing in America to go out with older broads. It starts with the gay...er...straight celebrities who get older broads. All of a sudden every Chandler and Tyson wants one. Kinda like how American dudes seem to really be into chunky females. I DO NOT mean ALL MEN, but there is a definite trend. It might also stem from the fact that the caliber of girl in America has dropped so much in the last 20 years. Take a look at pictures of American girls back in the early 80's. They don't even have the same genetic features that the modern day American girl has.
Am I the only one to notice these things? Nope. One reason why the runways in NY had more Estonian girls (a population of barely over 1 million) than American girls this fashion season. Sad. There was a time when you could find some pretty American girls.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
No. I'm old. lol.The_Reaper said:Yeah, no? And why?
lol... damn, I feel nerdy for understanding the light speed pun...mrRuckus said:She used to be 3 years older than you? How is that possible? Did one of you at some point approach light speed?
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
