Having a decent 9-5 job is not bad in this economy. Unless you’re making significant more money moving up the corporate later is not what it used to be.

The current dating market can be summed up as the aftermath from a raid from rich boomers, ceo tycoons, gen xers and dubi princes.

The ladder has been pulled up. We’re stuck with radicalized women and demoralized men.

Gen Z has poor social skills. This is a continuation from the Millennial generation, whose social skills were noticeably worse than Gen X's.

It's a consequence of growing up playing video games and being on devices 24/7 even when with their friends when they are 2 feet away. Ever see them "hanging out"? 5-6 kids sitting around texting each other.

We used to be outside playing from 10am to sun down on weekends and in the summer and after school during the year. Now these kids probably don't even spend the time outside in a month that we did in a day.

Social skills come from daily practice especially during formative years. They have had almost none of that. We learned how to deal with situations, conflict, conflict resolution, how to deal with people we didn't particularly like all that much, how to be persuasive, laughing, joking, etc

Would be like someone working out once a month thinking that's going to lead to them being a bodybuilder and then quitting when they see terrible results. The premise makes no sense.

Yup The younger you are and if you have a decent job and in shape it makes you stand out. I see guys in their early 30s already giving up which is crazy

Entirely too many fellas have been hoodwinked by a Manosphere rendition of the same poisonous belief system that Critical Theory/Intersectionality has been instilling in non-whites, women, and gays since the late 1960s: "All of our difficulties are MOSTLY the fault of a social order that's inherently evil and corrupt, so we shouldn't have to do anything... Such a worldview is no less insane than saying to oneself "I didn't design my body in such a way as to require defecation, therefore I shouldn't have to wash my ass on a daily basis... I think the stereotypical “choosing signal” of her looking at a guy from across the room and smiling at him is quite rare, unless the guy is Chadlite minimum and she has super high interest.

More commonly, she’ll stare for a few seconds, not smile and then look away.

I meant that the few second stare was a legit IOI. Not a look of disgust. More like a “wow” where she freezes briefly. But her face is deadpan serious. Haven’t gotten this one since 2012.

I’m am familiar with the “hide the boobz” IOD that you are referring to. There are different variations of that:

1. Close sweater or jacket.
2. Fold arms across the chest.
3. Turn her body away from you and only have her face pointed at you for necessary conversation.

#1 did freak me out a bit when it first happened lol. I was absolutely not looking at her chest. I zoned out for a couple seconds during the conversation to think of what to say next. She had a suit on and closed her suit jacket.

So I went with her to her table and I talked to this two chicks. I don't think it's so grim. I'm pretty ordinary, nothing really special so if I can do it, almost anyone can.

It's not just facial structure - you also hae to consider build, style etc as part of presentation. I know i've said before but go out and what do you see? Lots of guys with stomachs extend past their chest, wearing like sweatpants with beer logo tshirts....now put yourself in the shoes of nice looking woman who spends a lot of time on style, diet, working out, tries to look very well put together in EVERY SITUATION (makeup to gym? LOL)....if you are one of these women you would not be interested in sloppy looking guys who come across as children with little cartoon tshirts.

The tldr is have to present the "best" version of yourself. Ther was thread just replied to, Brad Pitt test. It's impossible for any of us regular guys to ever have the Brad Pitt effect and be stopped by random women all the time etc but is possible if we put in the work we will have the Brad PItt effect on some women. We will be some women's "type" and these are the one's supposed to go for (the one's you feel same way about). These are the one's will actually be kind to you and welcoe your approach and won't completely waste your time.

Took the kids to a Pokémon Go meetup once … hundreds of people there, whole setup looked really cool.. DEAD FCKING SILENT. Everyone walking around staring down at the screen catching Pokémon only they could see. Even in gathering locations. And then icing on the cake they were ripping their matchbox cars in and out of the parking lot like they’re in Tokyo drift

kidding aside, it’s a massive advantage to have social ability due to this real issue.

Men have never had a better environment in person to walk out of venues with women substantially younger and hotter than in some time, because those women’s male contemporaries have absolutely no ability to conduct a conversation

The ability to a conduct a conversation means nothing if women aren't receptive to being approached.

More and more younger women aren't receptive to approaches. Most women wear headphones/earbuds to the gym and on outdoor paths to avoid male approaches.

Female social skills are eroding as well, but it's not as notice as the changes in male social skills. It appears differently in interactions.

On my morning walk to the office I try and smile at as many women as I catch looking, I think it’s good practice and there’s a lot of opportunities to practice in midtown New York.

I also wonder about flipping them the bird, for shock effect. It’s something I do periodically to a hot girl who waves driving by in the jeep, usually good for a laugh

I make eye contact and smile with women on walking paths and other daygame venues. That gives me a better idea of who might be worth approaching. The majority of women do not acknowledge my attempts at eye contact and my smiles.

There's a lack of receptivity to approaches. This has been something that has gotten more common with smartphones, social media, and headphones/earbuds.

Prior to the smartphone, the MP3 player was common but not as common. There was no social media scrolling in public.

I think it’s good practice and there’s a lot of opportunities to practice in midtown New York.

Midtown New York is the best spot in the USA for pure street game.

The automobile centered Sun Belt cities like Dallas, Houston, and Phoenix aren't good for street game. There are some outdoor walking/hiking paths in those cities where approaches can happen, but it's not the same as pedestrian street game in New York or London. The London Daygame Model was a street approaching system that came out of a city where being a pedestrian is common.
