or self conscious,
or an AFC,
or a jealous Neanderthal,
or a defeatist,
or self critical...
The list can go on and on...
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
It works in the sense that you're being honest with women you meet, therefore they'll have a better appraisal of you; it's not a PUA method.be yourself, it always works unless your an A1 arsehole to begin with
You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.
Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.
She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.
Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

This post isn't about doing the same thing you do now, its about removing all the bull**** society has put in your head over the years, the same things that have ****ed your life up. Things ranging from approaching women, do being a *****, to kissing ass, you name it. When you believe in yourself and go with your REAL INSTINCT, not the bull**** society "instinct" you gain a HUGE amount of confidence, and you actually learn from situations.
I don't know about you guys, but as of tomorrow I am going on a journey, one where I will fall flat on my ass, AND feel like im flying, I have had enough of everyone telling me to act this way to get this, remember, the fun is in the journey, not the destination. Every single "technique" created by a guru was created from EXPERIENCE, ANYTHING will work once you have removed all of the bull**** society imposed blockers. So, start believing in yourself and go after what you want. To all the robots here who want techniques, all I will say is that one day you will realize it is about more than a set of do this and this and achieve this, I just hope you are willing to think of the possibilities.
A book that explains all this REALLY well is tyler durdens - blueprint, he has a good way of explaining everything, it will be out soon. It is time to start living guys, I know a lot of older guys here want techniques NOW because they don't want to tick their life away reaching their end goal of getting women, but once you embrace the journey getting there, then it is worth it.
I've gotten the "just wait and it will happen one day" answer a bunch from family members(from my older brother to my dad) and it is indeed very frustrating. Its definitely a non-answer.Ol'BlueEyes said:There is a phrase which is much, much worse that my mother used to say:
"It'll just happen eventually."
I know what you're saying. I'd ask them if that were true and everyone believed it, what would they think would happen if everyone sat with their thumbs up their @ss.manbearpig said:I've gotten the "just wait and it will happen one day" answer a bunch from family members(from my older brother to my dad) and it is indeed very frustrating. Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Who would have known that lack of control of bodily functions would be such a turn on to women....danro said:... I do whatever I want all the time. I burp in front of the girls and I'm off the walls crazy, but all the girls I hang out with wish they were dating me. ...
lol you just keep telling yourself that.danro said:Man, the just be yourself advice is the greatest thing in the world when it comes to getting girls. I do whatever I want all the time. I burp in front of the girls and I'm off the walls crazy, but all the girls I hang out with wish they were dating me. How do I know this? Because they've told me! So everyone just be yourself.
Yeah everybody! Be just like drano and do what he does, just be yourself!!!! :crackup:danro said:... How do I know this? Because they've told me! So everyone just be yourself.
You charmer, you.I burp in front of the girls and I'm off the walls crazy, but all the girls I hang out with wish they were dating me.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
