This was before cel phones and facebook/instagram. You couldn't be a cyber-orbiter back then, you had to physically do it in person. Guys followed her like a cloud of dust. I never saw any of them get anywhere with her.

She was Puerto Rican and didn't speak great English. I never had much of a chance. I had a partying buddy who was the son of a billionaire from Monaco, and he drew girls like flies, so she was around a lot. She had a body like a plastic surgeon's masterpiece except it was all real.

It's difficult to say that college is full of 'betas', with few alphas. In reality, I'm pretty sure there's a spectrum of beta-tude. The true betas are rare, just are the true alphas.

I know many guys who are beta in certain ways (terrible body language, dress poorly), but are dominantly alpha in others (purse their interests with blazing passion, great general social skills - if women aren't turned off by his appearance) and a few of them have a girlfriend whom they've been dating for a while.

I've realized that you don't have to be perfect to get the girl...in some cases, you don't even have to approach, just talk to people you regularly come into contact with or bump into everyday over time. Out of all those people, a girl will probably like you (Mere presence effect, Propinquity: relevant psychology terms).

I never really payed attention to other people at school, usually my focus is else where. But one thing really irked me the other day (this guy I saw was NOT gay btw)

So I was walking back from class and this "couple" was in front of me. You can tell they weren't really dating and he was her friend. But my god he stared at her with some crazy interest (his head was always pointed towards her, all the time, 100% eye contact). Anyway, I took my headphones out and overheard her talking about guys being ****s, a$$holes, usual girl crap they always complain about at some point in time.

Then this guy starts comforting her. At this point I have a big "wtf" face on because this is pretty funny and sad, seeing this guy crash like this.

The girl then says, "I am glad to have you as a friend". At this point you can see the tears forming in this dudes eyes (metaphorically speaking) but man his facial expression really changed.

Then the hugged, and he made some stupid remark about how he was a better hugger than her.

After that we went different ways.

But my god, I have never witnessed that before, even though it seems to frequently happen.

depends what uni/college you go to. If it's a big party school, theres a ton of douchey alpha types. At my school, you go to the bars and MOST of the guys there are really build or attractive. The more beta guys tend to avoid big parties and bars/clubs.

I went to a higher ranked, "smarter" college to visit, and basically every guy i ran into had zero game. The bad part about this is the girls were mediocre too. At the party schools, it's insane how many hot girls there are.

After law school, those guys who couldn't get laid to save their lives before all started getting married immediately. Every time I'd see that, I would think, you didn't game her, she gamed your pay check.
