"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Good you have that skill, Francisco. I tend to be inconsistent, but am a pretty good listener. Once there's a good topic to latch onto, I can be very good, but sometimes I'm just a man of few words...
To you, what's the major difference between a good topic that you can latch onto as apposed to a bad one?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Perhaps I worded that wrong, Francisco. It might be more accurate to say I tend to be at a loss for openers, absolutely dislike forcing a conversation. I'm very cool with silence.

I also seek to avoid a "job interview" sort of mode, which is a very common way in which coffee-house sort of dates get deadly dull, but don't have the consistent DeAngeloesque skills to deflect such a conversation if it does come up, and often end up coming across as evasive, flippant, or even difficult in such situations.

How do you typically handle a "job interview" type of discussion?

I took my last girl out to a comedy club. She loved it, were able to have a good laugh get close enough for kino and talk abit. But, it also stops you from having those awkward silences as something else is going on.
