allright ... love... the first tapes of brian tracy's the psychology of achievement explain it pretty well by the example of the child-grief-death-syndrome where 2 groups of newborn children where seperated into those who got diapers changed, fed, sung to, held, talked to and given attention and those who just got fed and had their diapers changed and that was it. The experiment had to be stopped and it was stopped too late because 90% of those children of the second group had already died out of grief.

So i guess love repressents any form of positive interaction and connection with yourself and other people necessary to grow a healthy personality. Children in their formative years who do not get enough love from their parents grow love deficianties (is that how you spell it/?)
After the formative years one is supposed to fullfill him/herself with the feelings of love and draw relationships from it and have it working for their personality

It's when you're in a situation where it's in your best interest to leave someone you're with, but you decide to stay with them.

For example, Sheryl Crow wants to have kids, and her boyfriend has prostate cancer and cant father any children, yet she's marrying him and is gonna spend the rest of her days with him anyway.

That's what real love is, at least in my opinion. Anything else is just infatuation or losing your balls.
