what is everyone doing for NYE ?

so new years eve is upon us

i had originally planned an expensive & boozy weekend away with a friend , but to be honest i feel like i have already spent and drank enough over the festive period so i cancelled it earlier this week

i find NYE to always be stressfull and disappointing in my home town and i know i have left it late to go away now ...but will feel like il be missing out if i dont go out

just wondering what everyone's plans where ?

I got my boys and my mom is in town. She made it clear that she will not watch them so I can go out. Even with the "but they are already asleep..."

So it is a movie night with a bottle of champagne, and cider for moms

Planning on pub with a few mates. Hopefully there will be a few cheekies to chat up.

Nothing too crazy. I like to feel fresh and go out on New Years Day. It's usually quite peaceful and a good time for a bit of reflection.

I'm taking my date out tonight (30th) and we will celebrate New Years at midnight. Tomorrow night she can go party as she just turned 21 and I'm done with that scene, so I didn't even ask for that night. I'll take it easy at the corner pub.

I traditionally like going out on the 30th instead of NYE because it's a quiet night and staff isn't depressed having to work.

Will watch a movie and play videogames probably, not worth the hassle to feel like an ant in the overcrowded city where magically everything to eat or drink costs twice the normal cost.

As doublegreatest said holydays mean **** beside closed stores, interrupted services and the fvcking gym closed the necessary days to screw up my program.

The older I get the less tolerant I become when society or culture forces me to feel or do something.

CANT WAIT till all the **** is over and proceed according to my plans.

I'm going to a party with a plate at a big hotel in town. It's supposed to be 3 different rooms with a party in each one. Then the plate is sleeping over.

I kind of wish I wouldn't have agreed to this now, cause a new girl I met wants to spend new years with me and I'm pretty sure she's dtf. Oh well...

We arranged things too late and everywhere in my town is booked however, we managed to get tickets to NYE in a Casino which will be interesting.
