"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

She is standing adjacent to you. You see her. You walk up to her, look her dead in her eyes and say
"You know what I want" while handing her your phone

Thoughts?

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I think that line plus handing her the phone is pretty good. Very confident and direct. Make sure you do it with a bit of a smirk on your face. It's good to offset such a bold move with a little humor and playfulness. But open her first and converse a little. Unless you are great looking your approach will not work on it's own.

That's pretty good, but the one that I use and have had success with is you walk up to her, hold out your phone and then go "Put your number in here before I don't want it anymore."

I don't see the point.. Nothing will come from those numbers.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I can't help but think the majority of girls will just look at you with a big FU expression on their face while you stand there with your cell in your hand. But hey you can try and see how it goes.

I think it's probably better to build some comfort at first...this way you have a better shot at the number.

It's best to approach men with this at first and gradually build up to the ladies.

Is your phone worth any money?
Personally I think some women may reply, "Did you want me to do this?" and then hurl your mobile across the dancefloor/street.

But maybe I'm just being a tad negative about this.
Give it a go and let us know how many numbers you get/how strong the gorilla glass is on a new iphone ;)

If she is OK with her, then she will gladly feed her number, if she is not, have some money in spare to buy a new phone :D

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
