What can I do (besides weightlifting) to lose a tall and lanky frame?

So I was wonder if there's anything a guy can do, besides weightlifting, to lose a tall and lanky frame? Not that I'm against weightlifting or anything, I'm just curious if there's anything else to do.

Well, I am pretty new to this stuff, but there is one thing that seems to be a fact. You cant gain weight unless you eat more calories than you burn. Obviously you cant lose your tallness (why would you want to anyway) so all you can do is eat more. Now, if you eat more it will either become fat or muscle. If you dont lift weights it will become fat. So the short answer to your question is a definite hells no.

Let me correct myself, if by lifting weights you mean iron and bars, then you can get bigger without them. But if by lifting weight you mean literally, take some object that weighs a lot and lift it then you cant. CaptainJ has already told you one way.

Yeah, I mean lifting weights as in dumbbells/barbells and other gym stuff. Not that I'm against that, I just want to know if there are other ways to ditch a lanky frame.

How big of a tire are we talking?

What about a large sandbag?
I own lots of sandbags around my apt and nothing beats the daily workouts I do with em !! make a soundbag thats long and heavy and practice being able to lift it overhead and press it for reps !! Major mass/strength builder plus excellent for conditioning.

p.s. dont actually fill a sandbag with sand...use pea gravel or rubber mulch..check out youtube vids on how to make em'

Call me a **** or an ******* but this is a ridiculous question. Any motherfuc3ker I've known that lost a tall and lanky frame did it all the SAME way. By not eating like a pigeon and training correctly with thousands of lbs of slag iron each session. Day in day out like it was their fuc1kin job.

So bottom line the quickest way to lose your tall and lanky frame, is eat like a freakin' animal and TRAIN LIKE A BODYBUILDER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have buddies who are around 6'2 and are pushing 250-260+ lbs and have barely filled out.

Go do what I said for 5 years and come back. you'll look at this thread and think "Wtf was wrong with me?"
