Yep - A License to do whatever one wants to do with no consequences is exactly what "unconditional love " grants . The belief we should continue to "love" ,honor and respect the other person inspite of their destructive deeds is just plain dumb, This is some leftover crock from the "Worst of Counselling in the "80s" and I am amazed and appalled that it is still being preached as a noble ideal in therapy and "spirituality " ( whatever that means)

Young children are entitled to uncondtional love from their parents - mixed with a compassionate dose of discipline and rule setting.
Adult are not entitled to anything such thing.
