"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Basically i'm 16 and a good 125 lbs and she keeps telling me i shouldnt gain weight, and shes a ug. Does this is all filter back to the age old pook post saying that if i gain weight she'd be afraid id be way to far out of her leage and even more too good for her? BTW she likes me...i ljbf'd her.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

A lot of guys want to add weight, but it seems many women don't care about size...Brad Pitt is not big, and he's not muscular either.
he's also not a fat-ass.....

obviously

once you pack on some lean mass you'll forget about her and she knows it

it has been proven time and time again that hot chicks like muscle and the uglies CLAIM they don't like it

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Could be, but from my perpective, being bigger is not better in most cases.

I obsessed over adding muscle to my frame. I used to weigh 160 lbs. Currently, I'm 6'2" and a densely muscular 240 lbs., but I don't have throngs of women throwing themselves at me. Once I get to know a woman, she will acknowledge my build, but never in the initial conversations.

I find that just how society puts unrealistic pressure on girls to be skinnier than they really need to be, society puts pressure on guys to be larger than they really need to be.

Check out BMI (body mass index) calculators on the internet. The calculations and normal ranges of indicies for people based on height vs weight were done based on scientific surveys and statistics of health.

I bet many people reading this will think that 160 lbs at 6'2 is way too skinny. But guess what, 160 lbs is a perfectly normal/healthy weight for someone who is 6'2.

^^^yes but they don't take body composition into account. Would it be perfectly normal/healthy if 100lbs out of that 160 was fat?

Ok you also have to take common sense into account too :p . If you're all fat and within the normal indices, that is a different story. Having a lot of fat is not healthy no matter what height/weight you are.

Me for example, I have very little body fat. I am not going to brag and say I'm all cut, because I am not. However, I am the type that can work out for only a little while and I will develop definition really quickly because I am mostly lean muscle and not fat. To some people I seem a bit too light for my weight....but that is only because I do not carry much fat. That is just how my body works and how nature made me.

Consider the lion and the cheetah. The cheetah has an average weight of about 130 lbs and is about 1.5 m long on average. The lion has an average weight of 390 lbs and is about 2.5 m long on average. The lion is 3 times the weight but not even twice the length. They were just built differently. Nature intended it that way.

Should the cheetah gain 100 lbs just to be on par with the lion's weight? Does that make any sense? There are advantages and disadvantages of being heavy vs light. The cheetah takes advantage of its relatively light weight to outrun bigger enemies and prey. The lion relies on its strength to maintain its terrirtory against small enemies.

The point is, lions and cheetahs don't try to fight nature. Neither should you. If you are in a perfectly healthy condition, don't gain or lose weight just because it is something to do or because someone tells you to. Work on your inner core and you will see much greater rewards than gaining a few pounds.

See I am pretty much in that same boat. I am 6'3" 185 with a BMI of 23.1, not much fat at all and really athletic build, but it gets really old when people say all the time that I'm skinny. I have long arms and long legs so I guess I could see why they would think that. I would lift weights regularly for track and I was not weak by any means. Also I usually wear loose clothing. According to the website if I gained 15 lbs. I would be on the extreme low end of overweight. It figure people probably say stuff like that to make themselves feel better for not being in shape.

I was under the belief that fat girls could usually only get fat guys. I figured the hierarchy for men or women was:

Athletic/ripped/musclebound/toned etc.

Regular

Skinny

Fat

So long as it's lean muscle mass and not fat I think it's a great idea to gain weight. I've been lifting for about a year and a half now. I'm by no means huge but I look and feel alot better than I did before I gained muscle. And yes girls have complimented me on it including "emo" girls who claim they want skinny dudes.

It doesn't matter what any girl says, regardless if she's a walking venus de milo with arms and legs, or an ugly rubenesque bosch hybrid.

If you want to gain mass, gain mass. DO NOT DO IT FOR GIRLS!!!!!!!!

Then theres no purpose to it?...... wrong. The concept of bulking is actually pretty dangerous, ive been putting down a lot of fat and saturated fat and i really don't know if thats gona put anything on the line. hope not. anyway the only point for me to gain mass is for girls. you gotta change for girls if you want every edge possible. it feels like i have no fuc*ing chance with any girl at 125, and its been that way. so yea f*ck

Brad Pitt also makes millions and millions of dollars and is seen on mvoie and TV screens across the world.

If YOU feel that YOU need to bulk up than who in the hell has any say in what YOU do. DO it. Don't ask people if you SHOULD. If you want it, go for it. Simple as that. NOTHING should stop you from doing what YOU, YOU, YOU want.

SHE wants you to stay skinny like a bean pole? Psh, f*ck her.

I am also looking on just toning my abs and get a bit bigger arms.

My arms are gaining defenition on them, you can tell the differenc between the biceps, triceps and that mucle on you sholder

A: Work on your WHOLE body, just getting bigger arms and "toning" your abs (aka building more muscle and losing bodyfat to make them more visible) isn't going to do you a whole lot of good. Stick with the big three and youll gain some good mass on your entire body.
B: That "mucle on your sholder" is your delts.

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
