my only advice is dont let them draw you into it. It happens and mostly with anxiously attached women that are really into you. This is a better situation than the cold hearted dismissive avoidant (believe me ive been and still am married to her)

That's only if they have high interest level (IL) in the man. In most cases, the man's IL is higher than the woman's. The woman doesn't care if she doesn't hear from him.

This is true. Short attention spans and increased competition makes dating via tech methods incredibly challenging.

I think text messaging has had a negative effect on early stage dating. Almost all early stage communication now is done through the written word. The phone call is mostly dead in early stage dating.
