In this case, if you want to be a man of your word, go on with your life. Things look and feel ****ty right now, but that will change soon depending on how well you handle this. I think you are better off leaving alone for your sake rather than for hers. Every decision you make has got to be for your sake. When you make the necessary changes to be the best version of yourself, this probably won't be the girl you give two ****s about anyway. With Improvement comes better options.
