As for food, don't eat any street food, make sure everything you ingest has been well cooked, no unpeeled fruits, no salads, lettuce or anything like that. Only eat in clean looking restuarants. If you're in Bangkok, the Siam Paragon plaza has lots of good clean places to eat but the prices for western quality food(as far health and safety) is going to cost western prices. As for girls, I wouldn't mess with the hookers. There are lots of gorgeous girls in Thailand. Why not just try to sarge a normal girl, many of them speak English. They'll probably even be glad to show you around during the day.
