I told her let's meet at 5 at this restaurant. She agreed. We'll see if that 100% flake rate holds water... From past experience sometimes being a little persistent but not completely needy isn't necessarily a bad thing. If she flakes, you guys can rub it in my face. lol
We'll see what happens. Expectations do kill the game.

Texting isn't a game... it's a form of communication. My advice is to text to set up a date... and when you ask a chick out, give her a time, date, activity and TELL her you will pick her up. Sometimes chicks don't want you coming to her home when she first meets you, I totally get that, so at that point just tell her where to meet you. Any other response other than yes should be considered no. If she makes a counter offer, it has to be a LEGITIMATE counter offer like "I can't make it then, how about we do something on [date/time]" and you don't have anything planned then go ahead and accept it. If you have plans then tell her you'll hit her up again later... and if the mood hits you to make another pass, try again.
Invite her to things you are doing ANYWAY, so if you are planning to go out to eat.... maybe a new restaurant in town you want to try out, then go ahead and ask her. I've done this on 1st dates frequently... never hurt me. But I never have open ended invites I always have a plan and then I invite chicks along... if one isn't available... it's onto the next one with the same offer... If none bit I go alone and see what I can stir up.
Fill your social calendar with things you want to do first. This does a couple of things, FIRST it gives her a chance to adjust her behavior to please you, which gets her to commit time towards you, the more she does this the more she likes you. SECOND, women will wear the hat you give her, if she likes you.. if she doesn't then she won't... at that point you should get the message and no nothing is going to happen, or it's going to be a lot harder.
The 'game' doesn't start until she actually meets you on a date... until that happens she should be nothing to you.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
