I've been having some mild success with females, been getting many numbers but only text about 1-5 because I don't know how to start lol. Any suggestions?

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
for the first message, Some funny **** you said while you were getting her numbre
example: girl says she likes your shoes or some ****.. "Like my sexy shoes?

Like my sexy shoes? Honestly that just makes you sound metrosexual or gay.
You don't need an opener to text a girl. If you were funny and outgoing when you met the girl and got her number, then just saying "Hey, its MrNiceGuy23" should be enough for the girl to respond with a "Oh hey!!" If she has to ask who you are again or doesn't seem excited that you texted her, then you probably receive low interest from her or she gives her number out too easily.
Remember, routines in ANYTHING, texting, approaching, calling, etc is CHEESY. You don't want to sound rehearsed to a girl or give her some corny lines that she'll eventually read into and drop you cause you have no real game.
Real game is reading a woman's interest level, increasing this interest level through your looks, humor, conversation, and adapting to any curveballs she might throw at you to keep her interest level high. If you can't do these things, you'll be seen as boring, and the girl will stop giving you her time.

Dude, do not be a try hard over text. I think this is the #1 mistake. If you try to be funny/witty etc. she will immediately be able to tell how bad you want her and your value will be lowered. etc. etc.

I would just like to clarify, I'm gay, soo... that's why i said that as an example off the top of my head and I am a kid by the law... :rock:
and in all actuality it depends on how you presented your self in person. your guys opener would work fine... it just seems boring... you guys placing to much importance on "not messing up" if your not comfortable on a medium your going to probably mess up anyway when you start, so you can literally say and do anything you want... and most cases probably should.
