By that logic, the mods should never ban anyone even if they use racial slurs or other offensive language. PHM used to bash people on this site all the time…I guess that would make him a huge beta faggot.

I doubt they'd unban him though, I doubt he'd even know he was unbanned and I'd imagine he'd hate this place so much for banning him that he'd never come back, but low odds of success are never an excuse for not trying(unless trying has a high cost)
