Master Don Juan
I have trouble just meeting quality women who are girlfriend material and then being in a position to approach them and get a phone number. There just aren't very many out there at my target age range.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
I can relate to this. I wouldn't call it a challenge though since I'm in a relationship atm and aren't even trying to fix this. Socializing seems like a chore to me more often than not. This is something I need to work on. I feel like I know what needs to be done I just need to get off my ass and do itJaegerPilot217 said:I would say my biggest obstacle is going out and meeting women, not because I dislike going out, but because i've never really had a large social network, always had a small social circle, not many close friends, and one of the most common ways people meet their significant other or potential hook-ups is through their mutual friends, friend of a friend, social circle, etc., considering my social situation that's not really an option for me and hasn't been in the past
You have a girlfriend at the moment? Well you have better game than me, how did you meet her? I assume you were the one who initiated, made the first move on your girlfriend and asked her out first, well shows you are able to talk to women successfully, so it doesn't seem like a chore for you, but anyway elaborate, plus for me I'm never really invited to parties or big social gaheringsJoeMarron said:I can relate to this. I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Well I'd consider it more a close long distance fvck buddy than a girlfriend lol. We met on the internet (not a dating website but I'd rather not share too many details). I think I talked to her once or twice before we met. The vast majority of communication was done by text. A few months of my wit, charm, and some sextingJaegerPilot217 said:You have a girlfriend at the moment? Well you have better game than me, how did you meet her? well better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at allJoeMarron said:Well I'd consider it more a close long distance fvck buddy than a girlfriend lol. A few months of my wit, charm, and some sextingand she's traveling half way across the country to see me. Sex marathon ensues, love slave created, the rest is history. This has been going on for about a year. Dudes here like to sh!t on LDR's, I've done it a bit myself, but the situation works for me. I'm getting what I want and should I decide to get off my ass I can game local chicks as well. Don't get me wrong though, this isn't an ideal situation to strive for. I won't deny that this situation is a buffer for me not going out and improving my success with women. You'll be much better off building your social circle, getting out and sharpening your skills, and finding local women to have sex and build relationships with.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Didn't step out of my comfort zone earlier which I deeply regretRave18 said:I ignored my career for a really long time![]()
True. Came across a post which I thought would suit this thread > http://therationalmale.com/2011/12/16/truth-to-power/. Reading it carefully would be better cause the post has a lot of depth to it.JaegerPilot217 said:Didn't step out of my comfort zone earlier which I deeply regret

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
