You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
Wow. I'm going to agree with something LMS posted. Watch for the Apocalypse soon,..Last Man Standing said:No such thing as a "sex addiction" - more matrix shyt!!
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
I agree. There was a thread about this not too long ago.Phyzzle said:The interviews were dumb, but that guy's system is as creepy as fvck.
He says you should go into a pub before a date, and offer the bartender huge tips to refer to the seltzer water you will be ordering as an alcoholic drink, and bill you as such, in case the girl takes a peek at the check. Of course, you'll also be paying him extra on the sly to mix her drinks extra strong.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
What is wrong with that? I will tell you from a DJ perspective what is wrong...ketostix said:Well if someone believes in the premise that what he's doing is wrong, then it's just as wrong for the females he's seducing. They know what the deal is. Classic example of women wanting and willingly being "hors" and then transfering all the blame and responsibility on the male.
I don't see what he's doing as being "creepy". I would put zero credibility in that one girl's statement, "He answered the door with his c0ck in his hand..".So what if he chooses not to drink but believes in creating the impression with his date that he is drinking? Whether he admitted he wasn't drinking or does not, either way he's not getting drunk. He's just putting on appearances. How is that any different than a woman wearing make-up to look better, high heels to look taller etc? As far as keeping a spreadsheet, what's so wrong with keeping notes to help in remembering various details. When you have a lot of information to keep straight, people write it down for all sorts of other things. Why is this different? If your going to spend many plates and your memory isn't the best, it comes with the territory.
Totally agree on the dinner part.Poonani Maker said:I like what Janka says about the mass text-messaging in the afternoon while you're real busy at work. He's adamant in saying nothing until after you've fvcked her, thus leaving her to her imagination, whether romantic or not, of you. We could never dream up the things that these soap-opera watching chicks dream up, so why not let em do it? And keep our mouths shut about ourselves despite our accomplishments. I like the lounge thing too. Eating does lead to the woman ordering everything on the menu and getting bloated. Amen.
The guy is THIRTY years old. That makes him MATURE. He is not a 20 year old kid, pretending to be a mature man.wolf116 said:Why do you people keep posting threads in the mature man section when they have nothing to do with mature men!
And why are you posting in the MM section when you are NOT a mature man?wolf116 said:Why do you people keep posting threads in the mature man section when they have nothing to do with mature men!
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
