"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

When do I ask for some clothes I had at her place? It's nothing urgent so I'm happy to wait a few weeks but there some some of my favourite comfy lounging clothes there. Shall I just forget about them?

Forget the comfy lounging clothes man, the loss of them is a very SMALL price to pay, in comparison to staying connected with this chick.. repeating a toxic a cycle, again & again, just for the sake of sex..

Clearly she isn't the girl, who you will ride off into the sunset with!

You will get new comfies to wear in time

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I've been active arranging dates with new women but i still miss her! How can someone so wrong make me feel so good, I feel like the past year has been a waste, God knows how people deal with divorce and ending LTR, 9 months feels hard enough.

I think that comes from losing my mother to cancer 2 years ago, I was fine before that, how do I stop being so emotional?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

You just answered your own question. As a man that went through a divorce and then a called off engagement, you have to realize that the 9 months wasnt totally wasted and at least you arent going to marry this chick and go through something even more devastating later down the road.

You got steady sex while in the relationship. You learned what to look for, red flag wise, so you can better screen out trash in the future. You hopefully learned that when things start down a bad path with a woman you should be ejecting yourself from the situation instead of trying to rationalize it. Use logic over emotion.

Now put your big boy pants on, go out with these other chicks and have fun. Dont look for anything super serious in attempt to replace the bad relationship you just got out of.

You send "Good luck then"

and then you don't initiate anymore texts. after 1 week, if she texts you, text back "Thanks for keeping in touch but I am already seeing someone. Good luck"

Puts the hamster into overdrive.
Totally agree with this. Basically saying "Fvck you, there are way better women out there and I will find them over dealing with your stupid shyte one more time".
