REPLYING AS Mr. AFC: Gee, she asked me to buy her a drink - obviously because she thinks I'm HOT! Maybe if I buy her a drink, I can hook up with her later. After all, aren't I entitled to her services if I buy her a drink? Logic dictates that If I buy her TWO drinks, then she'll pleasure me for TWICE as long! Here you go, bartender, my hard-earned cash! Get this lady another daiquiri! This is just like in the movies. Not only does buying her a drink make for certain that I'll get laid, but it also shows her that I am a nice guy that will do whatever she asks me to do for her, and women just LOVE that. Don't they? After all, nice guys finish first in the movies. On top of THAT, I feel all powerful when I buy her a drink - it's like I'm showing her that I can take care of her. Women like a man they can depend on. Shouldn't they?

We laugh, but many men experience this train of thought at least once in their lifetime (understatement of the year).

I would also use "maybe later if I haven't found someone else that's actually worth my time" if I wanted to be a little bit of a prick.

I was out lastnight and I witnessed one of my brothers friends get asked "will you buy me a drink?". He immediately said "sure" got her and her friend a drink and as soon as he turned around they walked away.

Never buy a girl a drink especially if she asks you to.

Either flat out say I never buy girls drinks in a bar (I saw the shocked look on a girls face one time, it was priceless and I wasn't attracted to her anyway) or say "Hey are you trying to pick me up? Because I'm tired of all these pick up lines girls use on me all the time!"

All of these are really good. I've heard the "no, but you can buy me one" response many times. I especially like the Magic 8-ball response and the "Blow me" response. Anything ****y and funny, although I'm not sure I'd have the balls to ask if she'd blow me. I live in a small town and word about that would get around too quickly. If I was far enough out of town, maybe...

My favorite response I've used is, "Yes...if you'll buy me one first!" If she bites, you know you're guaranteed some interest level and two drinks worth of time from her. And it doesn't come off as too arrogant.

you: "Will you give me a kiss?" (The magic formula ****y+Wussy)

Kidding, but replies like 'I liked your pick-up line', will get a good response and the convo going.
