"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

ty for sharing in our excitment!
we have lots of plans developing for our future.

weddings are kinda hard to plan and they seem expensive.
we are trying to plan well and not spend too much.

i would much rather have a cheaper wedding and a better honeymoon haha

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

How fuggin AFC

Just kidding. Dudes, that rocks!

Congrats! Let's meet up for a drink when you're both in the D before you're gone. I'll even buy you a round. As long as we don't talk about landlord/tenant stuff...

I third the Ooh la la. Enjoy!

On a joking side, this thread might have a chance of rivaling the fabled "Masturbation Thread" in terms on number of replies (especially since we have until December for the wedding!)

On a real side:
Can we expect to see both of you on the board from time to time?
And if not could I contact you sometime in the future if I need some advice? I always liked the advice both of you give.

Congrats again.

Hey congrats Gio and Pen. You guys are wise enough to handle anything that comes your way.

Wyld, I'm suprised at you for trying to put the kabosh on their big announcement. Don't be jealous Wyld you'll get married soon.

This is a happy thread!

In other words, I just finished deleting 2 full pages of snide remarks, sarcastic comments, and unwarranted "advice".

My finger hurts, so I'm going to say this one time only. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. All parties involved already know who they are - and if you keep it up, no matter how "innocuous" your "advice" is, it will be deleted. If you have a problem with this, tough. Nobody can keep you from posting in the thread, but realize that it's not about you. If people want to make it into a bickering session, then their thought-out and lengthy responses will just be deleted as soon as I get back to the thread.

This is not up for discussion!

Congratulations to both of you. Not very often one can find a person they are compatible enough to recognize the value. Wish the very best to you.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
