She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

She told me this herself. Apprently hasn't told anyone else.
Does this abortion thing reflect negatively on her personality and her past ?

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
There might be a myriad of circumstances in a person's life that would present abortion as a good choice, and it's not up to you to judge that person. Besides, your argument is purely emotional and invalid as it depends on your belief when life begins.Originally posted by PHAT Rabbit
Don't you guys understand that abortion is killing? But this post isn't about that... it's about how responsible this girl is and being pregnant and having an abortion is not responsible? Why would she want a baby? She doesn't obviously... but how does it prove her responsible by killing her innocent child? It was her fault she got pregnant not her kid period.
Her actions are not, therefore responsible. The responsible thing to do would've been to give birth then set the kid up for adoption because she cannot support it. It's not hard to understand gentlemen.

Why go through all the troubles of pregnancy just to give it away?Originally posted by PHAT Rabbit
Why does she have to right to take away her childs life?
Have you ever heard of adoption?!?!?!
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Really? She got pregnant AAAAAAALL by herself?Originally posted by PHAT Rabbit
It was her fault she got pregnant...

About vegetarians, they eat alot of grains and they must not realize that alot of animals are killed when they harvest it.Originally posted by Soma
I always wonder when people say what you just did...
You kill things all day. The very act of living causes suffering and death all around you. The meat you eat. The clothes you wear. Even if you're a vegetarian you're still killing plants. Your body is constantly killing intruding organisms. When you walk in the grass you often step on ants, snails, etc.. Life is life is life and no matter big or small you're snuffing it out, day in and day out.
Why are you ok with that and not ok with killing a human fetus? I'll go one step further and ask, why are you ok with that and not ok with killing a fully grown human? Yes, we are at the top of the food chain, so to speak. Yes, we are more "intelligent", technically, than the animals that inhabit this world. But why do you think humans have more "value"? What determines that "value"?
I'm not asking a general question. When I say "you" I don't mean people in general, I mean YOU.
I'm not saying either is wrong or right I'm just wondering why you think the way you do.

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
