Do you guys think anyone will ever want to marry me?
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
This is probaly the hottest thing I've read on this forum in like, ever.Fuglydude said:I think its unethical to go after chics that are hooked up, but to each his own...I've seen so much infidelity in my time, that it doesn't even bother me anymore.
I do however, stand by my value.

Oh, I get it just fine - I have been that "low class Preek" .And I knew what I was doing at the time and I knew that it was wrong.aliasguy said:-
I can't believe you don't get this.

Not unless you are 6'2 with a hot ride and lots of dough. And look like Brad Pitt. :crazy:Last Man Standing said:Do you guys think anyone will ever want to marry me?
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
I agree with Jophil28, as men, it's important that we take responsibility for our actions. It's just like anything, you can find reasons to excuse anything you choose to do if you want to. You can 'pass the buck' of responsiblity, h3ll everyone does, why not?jophil28 said:Blaming the woman totally is ONLY valid if the other man does not know that she is married. IF he knows that she is married and still fvcks her , he is a participant and therefor shares accountability.
I suppose I can see the hypocritical argument you guys are making.logic1 said:After reading this thread at least I know who 's advice is worthwhile.
The mildest word I can use to describe "some" of the posters is Hyprocrites!!
I would hate to be in business with some of you guys.
Carry on.

I would NEVER accept my LTR or my wife having sex with another man for ANY reason. To do so would make me a cuckold and a cuckold is not a compete or functional man.
To accept that it is OK for you or any man to have sex with a married woman sets up a moral dilemma. If you are OK with a man taking an "opportunity" with a married woman, would you object to another man screwing YOUR wife is she wanted it?
If you answer "yes", they you are a cuckold, if you answer" no" then your are a hypocrite.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
THis thread has lost it's way. The OP was wrestling with some doubts about whether he should follow up on some married woman's "invitation signals".aliasguy said:-

But the bottom line is, the person RESPONSIBLE is the woman who's f*cking around on you. SHE'S the one I'd be (and WAS, in my case -- I divorced her) pissed at. The guy is just a guy, doing what guys do.

The replies have been mostly in favor of him "doing her" and using a variety of feeble justifications to rationalise his doing do..." boys will be boys.." .
"she is the problem not you ... " Her husband is an AFC ..(as if AFChood deserves infidelity) ... " If you don't , some other guy will." and the doozy of irrational womanlike thought .." You are doing the husband a favor ..".
What a load of horseshyt !"
The replies here (for the most part) focussed on apportioning blame after the fact - most of the blame went to the married woman. THis thread was NOT about who is to blame - it was about whether it was a smart idea in the first place - before the fact !
Would you guys be OK with YOUR wife (or LTR) having sex with another man. Forget the circumstances.
IF you object to that then, by extension , you cannot have sex with another man's wife - lest you become a hypocrite who lives by double standards .
Yeah , I was thinking the same thing.KontrollerX said:Why would a person thats likely gone through something similarly hurtful whose overcome all that sadness and pain, woken up to the matrix and become a DJ with a vast amount of attractive single options to choose from ever go swimming in the gutter again and lower themselves by rewarding some cheating scum with that DJ's own time and body doing to another man what has likely been done to him in the past?
Still it does not compute.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
Surely there are enough single women around without tapping some AW "desperate househor ".jophil28 said:Yeah , I was thinking the same thing.
Secondly, I do believe that we all have a responsibility to hold another man's wife as "off limits" . I respect another man's marriage.
Whether he is a DJ, an AFC or a communist tree hugging vegetarian is irrelevant.
Would that include setting a "no affairs - no sex outside" rule for your wife and yourself ?aliasguy said:--
When I want to settle down, if that EVER happens, I'll do it with much more wisdom than last time.
