Alright, we all know, cutting and bulking the proper way means that sometimes you get sick of all the healthy food. It tastes worse and worse everytime you eat it until you ease up on them again.

For me, the biggest one of these is cottage cheese [no rhyme intended]

Anyone got any idea how to make it taste better? Right now I'm eating it cause it's a good source of protein, and it's nice and low in fat compared to every other cheese. I cant just live on tuna and eggs for the rest of my protein consuming days :p

I guess this thread can also be used for any real tasty but healthy things you can do with tuna etc too if anyone else is like me, and finds certain foods become almost inedible after a while!

if that doesn't work quit complaining and just swallow it

I might consider throwing it in a blender with a few other things and just chugging it down. Thinking about it, that'd make for an excellent quick meal :p

stiring definately helps, I already do it. Sometimes it's alright, sometimes it's not. It depends how religously I've been sticking to my diet ;)

Actually they do make good smoothies, add a bit of milk if your routine permits, and some fruit. Tastes great.

Ben, this thread revolutionized my diet, as I'm sure it will yours.

As for the tuna, here's my recipe:

1 can tuna
1 Tblsp Miracle Whip Light
1 Tblsp pickle relish
1/4 apple, diced
1/2 stalk celery, diced
1/2 boiled egg white, diced

Add the miracle whip to the tuna, mix, add other ingredients.

1 (or 2) slices of whatever healthy bread you like - or it can be eaten straight from the mixing container.

Tastes great, and it's extremely low fat/carb/cal.

benny... here's my miracle cottage cheese recipes.

1 cup cottage cheese
1 medium to large orange.

Peel orange, throw in the slices, eat a bunch of the cottage cheese with each slice of orange. You eventually start to like it ;)

Else,

3/4 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup natural plain yogurt.

add some "Crystal light" drink mix powder (pink lemonade) to taste. The powder is 0 cals, and really adds a lot.

cottage cheese and orange is major ownage. End of debate :D

I personally have no problem with tuna, I could eat it till the cows come home. I just know a few people have trouble with tuna for some reason, so I think getting some recipies for things would be a good addition to this board. You see workout advice, bulking advice, cutting advice, and food advice. but never how to throw it all together!

Anyone got any general recipies they love anyway? post em up here so we can all benefit! :D

Bigfella's Protein Bars
Courtesy of www.muscletalk.co.uk

Here we go The Bigfella's home-made protein bars......Get on 'em every bites a winner!!!LOL.

1 cup Natural peanut butter
8 tablespoons honey
1&1/4 cups whey protein powder
1 cup of uncooked oatmeal

Mix the pb and honey in a bowl, microwave on full for 80 secs. Add the rest and mix together (get your hands in man!!) can add raisins/nuts etc to taste. Smooth into 13x9 tray and leave for 20 mins. Cut into 10 to 12 equal bars and wrap and store in fridge!!

Good luck and happy munching.......you'll be back for more!!

Bigfella.
I know I posted this before, but I made them, and they taste real good, and are a good combo of carbs/protein for a quick 300-400 calories during the day, or more, depending on the size of your bar. They also make you wanna drink water, so that's a plus ;) Just don't try to eat them without water around.
