Ok, just did a second gymsession today. Half hour backhand then shredded the chest to pieces. Two chest taps in one day is ok occasionally. Totally fvcked now.

quick run in today, did 3 sets 12 pullups wide grip(basically crucifix - theyre that wide)

then 5 sets leg ext's 77kg x 12

aaand outtathere!

Rested Yesterday, quick run in for shoulders today -

pullups - 3 sets 12 @BW
2 sets 8 W'15kg DB

standing row - 60 kg, - 3 sets 12
oh press(behind head) - 50Kg 4 sets 12/ 8 / 6 / 5
Shrugs - 90kg for 6sets 10 then 120 kg 4 sets 10

some pressups

then off to work, will do the 50/40/30/20/fail sets pushups in a bit.

all joints feeling pretty goood :)

Leg Extensions - bashed out hard and fast

3 sets 12 @ 77Kg

calves - 3 sets 12 @ 115kg


walking like Bambi - No pain on the knees - Squats dont go hugely heavy as was concentrating on form - Knee started the wobble on the last 3 reps @90Kg, so that was the limit ;)

Yeah dude I did the last half of my workout outside and it's fvcking awesome, people watching you as they walk/drive by hahaha. The only point I'll disagree with is that looking epic naked isn't the main reason (though it is a reason) we do this, it's to be as badass as fvcking possible! Pushing through the pain on the path to greatness

Hah - true dat! You have pushed me back onto the path of righteousness. Forgive me - vanity and temptation were strong.

Lol the first incline was machine. I had nobody to spot me, so incline machine and light bench.

It's amazing that gym feeling looks like nothing when written down, but we all see each others pain and understand.

We earned every ounce of pain here and noone can take that from us.


Edit: good tune man- definitely adding that to my playlist.

True words man...and yeah Mudvayne is such a badass band to workout to, like your mind shuts off and you become an animal

Right BackDay - favorite day :D

Weighted pullups New record time
25Kg Plate - 3 sets 6 reps/set (failed on final)
15kg Plate - 2 sets 8 (failed on final)

did 4 sets seated row 95kg x 12
then dropset to failure

lad joined me for these cos he's seen me train before and Im guessing he wanted to feel the crazy pump I had going on!

pullups @ bodyweight then offset pullups

totally did another droset to failure on seated row again as well - Oh my fvck - what a fvcking burn on that!

out of steam for pullups and weighted pullups, I hurled myself at the lat pulldown machine - dropset to failure there.

took a breather, spotted a buddy, then last ditch effort caught 4 pullups outta me.

Paused for a moment and threw bicep curls
- e-z-curl bar -
50Kg x 10

(had help on the last 4)


no break, dropped down to 40Kg x 15 (help on the last 7 to hit the negatives)

and outta there - off to meet HB for ice-cream. (I think that went quite well too ;))

ok, Ive not updated this for a couple days, did squats the other day (monday) It was meant to be a rest day, but - THOU SHALT NEVER MISS A MONDAY.

WENT UP TO 100kg - im keeping it light for the moment.


Shoulders yesterday. After about 45 minutes of shoulders, a buddy appeared and he was on chest, so we smashed out another hour of chest.

on the way home, I stopped by another mates and he was in the garden smashing out dirty 30's. So, naturally, I joined him for 3 sets - overtrain on the triceps and complete failure. :up:

With the size and shape I am I wouldn't blame you!
Some guy did look at me funny but he could see I was on Dropsets. I think it may have been the face I was pulling that got the funny looks.

Oh man haha if you could have seen my face when I was doing dropset curls yesterday, you'd think I was giving birth!

I had to look up what the hell a yates row was. I'd prefer a regular bent-over barbell row compared to that. If the yates rows are causing you pain, get rid of it!

@Krueg - I prefer it cos you can just load up tons of weight and it hits those lats nicely.

It's all good now - if I get it again ill see about switching up.
