"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So if I’m pretty sure that a girl is feeling me, is it moving too fast to try and smash on the first date? Like hanging out to show her the studio, watch a movie, and smash from there? Just kinda impatient so I was just wondering lol.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Nothing wrong with that but you could screw yourself over depending on how you react if she shuts you down.

Depends on what you mean by trying to smash.

If you go full on hail mary with it, then yes you may screw your chances if it doesn't work,

But if you just try to escalate normally to the point where you get laid, whether you get there or not it shouldn't have any effect

On the other hand however, not trying to smash is actively bad unless you're screening for women who don't like you or trying to make friends lol

So, whipping your **** out in the car (unless you're both drunk) = bad

Inviting her upstairs to check out how cute your dog is/asking if she minds letting you use her bathroom after you make sure to walk her home to make sure she gets there safe = okay

As long as you didn't do anything too crazy if she gets offended that you dared to try to get laid that's not a very good sign (wtf did she think she was going on a date for? To make friends? Free food?),

but if she simply doesn't let you bend her over after one date, thats perfectly and totally normal and to be fully expected (first date lays are pretty much impossible unless she's drunk or you guys know each other well already)

Yeah that’s perfect! I was just wondering about escalating normally on the first date. This girl picked me up instead of the other way around so I thought it might be worth a shot

Depends on the chick.

Is she a hoe? Then smash ASAP.

Tonight I scored a date with an HB 9. She’s a very quality girl, masters degree and I know her through my work. I’m not gonna try to smash her on the first or second date. Rather I am gonna build rapport. I don’t want to bang right away and have her have buyers remorse. I want her to develop feelings for me. This is a girl I’m both mentally and physically attracted to which doesn’t happen often. If I look desperate for sechs it will turn her off.

Not moving too fast but it DQs her from anything serious long term.

The 'watch a movie' part sounds boring. Everything else is good. I expect sex on the first date, but at the same time, I am not pushy at all. Those are two different things.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
