What do you mean that you have standards? You mean in terms of morality, or in terms that the girl wasn't hot, or that the set-up sounded sick? I think this was my fantasy about looking for work, but as we know, porn and mental sex-fantasies can become a disgusting thing you regret very quickly in real life.

To the op, the woman like that simply loses sexual and romantic value due to her lowly behaviour. You need to be confident enough to hold internal frame knowing you are above that. Men should be on your side but you will find many lowly men who cannot be above, who are weak enough to want to be the fourth, and they will simply say to you that sex is all that is valueble in the world.
At the moment we are at or near rock-bottom. In the near future this type of culture will start to die as the Alpha Male system works it was from Top to Bottom in society.
In todays world Alpha guys are not getting laid the most. This is simply a fact. It will just take some time for the new system to spread.
I agree with that to some extent I found this website in the late 90s seems like a different world online dating was a novelty back then
