I'd say instead of lowering standards, go for cute girls in RL rather than OLD or Tinder/Bumble, whatever. I'm only using OLD at the moment because I'm so bloody busy it's my only option. But it knocks your "attractiveness rating" down at least 5 points with most girls IMO. If you're 8/10 in real life, girls will treat you like a 3/10. Girls online are so unrealistic and tend to be damaged or narcissists in my experience.
Whereas in RL you immediately stand out just for talking to a girl, and you're going to come across as attractive if you've worked on your physique etc. regardless of whether the light is catching you right and all the BS that has to swing your way for a photo to look as good as you do in person.
Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

This should be on your dating profile. I once had one along these same lines. It was totally sarcastic and funny, but that didn't matter. It attracted a lot of women because they saw it as humorous and I think many could relate.
