Ive got 3 universities in the town Im in-the problem is Im not a student-Im military. ANy suggestions on how to work my way in? The civies seem to be able to easily pick us out.

I'm very wary of making guy friends. I haven't had a group of guy friends since High School, that was about 8 years ago. We were all basically the dorks or what ever. I broke contact with them about two years after graduation. One of them still calls me every now and then when he's high :rolleyes:

The last guy friend I had ended up using me as a cover while he was cheating on his girlfriend. :down:

Generally I just don't like guys. Why waste my time with a guy when I can spend it with a girl? Also I've only had guy friends my whole life and felt like it was time wasted, that I should have spent with girls.

When I feel lonely I have a nice collection of gospel music artists that I listen to and if I occupy my mind with good music, especially from sexy sounding female vocalists, then I feel good - sometimes I get this soul-sister connection from the singers.

Anyway....I've been thinking about this site called http://www.meetup.com

Basically, this is an online social networking site, and basically groups from all over the place use this as a meeting venue. Then you got these other small groups in church, etc... that could also serve as potential networking - as well as work based.

So, the best way to start a social circle from nothing is probably to go on meetup.com

When you start to talk someone buy a beer for you and him
and the talk will flow
He will buy you a beer you him blabla and at the end you know him better than you wish ;_;
