3. You act on your desires...Cheating means two things:
1. Your low interest level in the girl
OR
2. Your low morals/values
You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
And that will have no effect on the rate at which you get cheated on...ready123 said:I don't cheat,
No, never. I wouldn't commit myself to another person if I didn't intend to be faithful to her.MightyMate said:I do. What about You ?
I second that!ready123 said:I don't cheat, which is why it takes me forever to qualify the girl to know if I can make her a girlfriend. maybe if the frame between you guys is a swinger relationship it be alright but most guys don't even know what that's about
if you can't commit, whats the point of being in an LTR in the first place? the emotional bond is now a joke, you guys are gonna have trust issues like the OP, and it also means you can't empathize with her hurt enough to care. So there's really no point if having her in your life as a GIRLFRIEND
I think it's also kinda dumb when people backwards rationalizing cheating as something animals do in the wild. Humans have a self-consciousness that animals don't that allows us to make choices. We have desires but we can choose to act on the desires. There are a ton of people throughout my 29 years that gave me the desire to whoop their ass. If we were all animals in the wild and slaves to our desires, they'd all be dead
The other thing is cheating is always the result of the guy not having a clue what he wants. A guy can ALWAYS set a precedent at the beginning of the relationship and most girls are receptive to the frame. If he just wants to fvck he can do that, if he wants MLTR's, he can do that, if he wants an exclusive relationship, he can do that. He just has to set the precedent. Figure out what you want and stick with it
of course not, but I wasn't even trying to go thereDonGorgon said:And that will have no effect on the rate at which you get cheated on...
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
interesting angle... but the inflated and sensitive human ego begs to differ.ready123 said:of course not, but I wasn't even trying to go there
the thing is if I get burnt I don't throw a tantrum and whine about it, I just move on. some of you guys think getting cheated on is the WORST thing that could happen to you in life so half your game is trying to figure out ways to keep yourself from getting burnt so you don't have to experience those emotions
get some thicker skin
Thats true and its amazing how many people still cheat even though it hurts so much...LOLChillisauce said:the amount of hurt a partner gets from someone cheating is terrible.
